1. Daily Driving Optimization
Drive at a steady speed, avoid hard acceleration and sudden braking. In urban areas, controlling speed at 40–60 km/h is most energy-efficient.
Inflate tires to 0.1–0.2 bar above the manufacturer's recommended pressure to reduce rolling resistance and save power.
Reduce full loads and avoid carrying heavy items in the trunk to lower vehicle weight.
2. Winter-Specific Solutions
Park in underground garages whenever possible to avoid exposing the battery to low outdoor temperatures.
Use seat heating/steering wheel heating instead of the cabin heater – this saves more than half of the energy.
Pre-heat the vehicle while plugged in, so the cabin is warm and the battery is active, reducing range loss.
On highways, try to maintain a steady speed within 100 km/h; driving above 120 km/h significantly increases power consumption.
3. Battery Care to Extend Range
Keep daily charge levels between 20% and 80%. Avoid storing the battery at 100% for long periods, and don't let it run down to 0%.
Use slow charging whenever possible, and avoid frequent high-power fast charging to reduce battery degradation.
In summer, avoid charging immediately after exposure to high heat; let the battery cool down first before charging.
