Public charging station – Can't charge:
Replug the charging gun; lock the car, unlock, and try again.
Switch to the adjacent charging post or try a different operator's charger.
Check the charging port for water accumulation, dust, or foreign objects; wipe dry and clean before plugging in.
In extremely cold or hot weather, the battery thermal protection may refuse charging. Let the vehicle sit for 10–20 minutes before trying again.
Slow charging:
After the battery reaches 80%, current is automatically limited as a battery protection mechanism. This is normal and no action is needed.
Battery temperature too high or too low – the system reduces power. Once the temperature returns to normal, charging speed will recover.
Old charging stations may have inflated power ratings. Switch to a high-power DC charger.
Home charging station – Breaker tripping / Leakage:
Upgrade the wire gauge (recommended: 6 mm² copper wire) and ensure proper grounding.
Use a dedicated leakage circuit breaker designed for new energy vehicles. Do not share the same circuit loop with high-power appliances.
On rainy days, avoid outdoor charging with extension cords or flying leads. Never use long power strips for charging.
